Cockroach Poker is a fun and sneaky bluffing game that’s all about deception — not poker! Players try to avoid collecting four of the same type of critter while bluffing their way through cards featuring cockroaches, rats, flies, stink bugs, and more.
The deck contains 64 cards (8 of each critter). Players are dealt all the cards at the start.
On your turn, choose a card, place it face down, slide it to another player, and declare a critter type (e.g., “Stink bug”). The next player can:
Accept the card, say “true” or “false,” and reveal it. If they’re wrong, they keep the card; if right, the sender keeps it.
Peek and pass the card to someone else, keeping or changing the declared critter type.
The round continues until the challenge is resolved, and whoever ends up with the card starts the next turn.
The game ends when a player either runs out of cards or collects four of the same critter — that player loses, and everyone else wins!
